Founded in Bonham, Texas, our team of agricultural engineers and technology experts came together with a shared vision: to revolutionize strawberry farming through precision technology that's accessible to farms of all sizes.
We began our journey with Punjab Farms, a family-owned pick-your-own strawberry farm in Bonham, as our first customer and development partner. Their feedback and real-world testing helped us refine our technology for practical farm use.
The name "Chowkidaar" means "watchman" or "guardian" in Punjabi, reflecting our mission to vigilantly protect and monitor strawberry crops, ensuring optimal growth and yield for farmers worldwide.

2023: The Idea
Chowkidaar began as a solution to challenges faced by small strawberry farms, with the initial concept developed in collaboration with Punjab Farms in Bonham, Texas.
2024: First Prototype
The first Gharooka prototype was built and tested at Punjab Farms, showing promising results for improving strawberry farming operations.
2025: Growing Community
The broader farming community began expressing interest and extending support in building this AI-powered farmbot, helping us expand our reach to more farms across Texas and beyond.
